Support Small Businesses – on Small Business Saturday!

Small Business Saturday

Since 1963, Americans across the United States have paused to reflect on the major contributions made by small businesses. Small Business Week, which is celebrated on Saturday, November 30, recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Commissioner of Revenue Sharon McDonald has declared that “small businesses represent the heart and soul of the city’s economy. Perhaps more important, she added, “the people who own and work in small businesses represent the fabric of our community.”
In recognition of Small Business Week, the Commissioner’s Computer Network is proud to re-broadcast a CCN program that focuses on the importance of small businesses in our city. We hope that all city residents will continue to support the small businesses in Norfolk.
