Small Business Educational Series through VB

Helping hand shakes another hand as part of an agreement

The City of Virginia Beach and the Small Business Development Center of Hampton Roads will offer a free training series to learn best practices for bidding on municipal construction contracts. Participants will learn how to develop a bid strategy, ensure bid compliance, meet the procurement staff, and learn from the experts with one-on-one counseling.

The series will be held Sept. 25, Oct. 2 and Oct. 9 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development, 4525 Main St., Suite 700, Virginia Beach. Reservations should be made for all three sessions by Sept. 22 at www.hrsbdc.org.
