Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation Summer Camps

As we enjoy this taste of summer weather, it’s a great reminder to finalize plans for your child when school lets out. We’re gearing up for another great season of Summer Camps and we hope your child will be spending some time with us! Whether it’s just for one week or for the entire summer, we’ve got options to meet your needs and ensure that your child has fun while making lasting memories!

We’re again offering camps in our recreation centers and in many elementary and select middle schools across the city. We also offer a variety of specialty summer camps and add-on swimming lessons.

Register your child for camp online via EZreg or in person at any recreation center. All camps are now available for registration. Don’t wait, as many camps will fill early!
School-Based Camps

  • KidzQuest & RISE Camps (rising 1st – 5th graders), Middle School Camps (rising 6th – 9th graders)

Recreation Center Camps

  • Preschool & Kindergarten Camps (age 3 – 6), Youth Camps (rising 1st – 6th graders), Teen Camps (rising 7th – 9th graders)

Specialty Summer Camps

  • Back 2 Nature Camp, British Soccer Camp, Magic Camp & More, Nature Detectives Camp, Ropes Camp, Surf Camp & More, Tennis Camp & Therapeutic Recreation Camps
