Linkhorn Shoppes is a mall located across the street from Beach Movie Bistro at the intersection of Laskin Road and Oriole Drive. Its shops and restaurants are well-established and popular with residents of the Oceanfront and Birdneck Point.

Eurasia Cafe and Wine Bar  Established seven years ago by David Edelin, Eurasia offers cuisine that David calls Regional American, meaning “a ton of seafood.” Not only does Eurasia serve sophisticated cuisine in a comfortable venue, it serves great food at real value. Expanded and reopened in May of 2013, Eurasia now features an improved selection of wines that may be purchased and consumed at dinner or taken home. Call 757-422-0184 or go to www.eurasiavb.com.

KT Nails  KT Nails has been at this location for 10 years and offers not only professional nail care but also full body waxing – to both men and women. Its friendly staff, consisting of licensed and experienced assistants, gives spa pedicures and manicures and provides clients with artificial nails and pink and white nails. KT Nail’s fees are reasonable compared to its competitors. Call 757-437-3074.

Anytime Fitness  Although Jay Maizel established his fitness center only 24 months ago, he has received such enthusiastic client support that he is indeed well-established. As its name suggests, Anytime Fitness is open 24 hours a day. It is blanketed with phone-linked security cameras so Jay can observe the premises even when he is not on site. Anytime Fitness offers a full line of exercise equipment including a Functional Fitness Apparatus.  Membership is $35 to $45 per month. Call 757-962-0802 or go to www.anytimefitness.com/gyms/2562.

Baker’s Fine Jewelry and Gifts  Owned by the Baker family since 1919 and located at Linkhorn Shoppes since 1995, Baker’s has been favored by local residents for generations. Run by George Baker and his children, John and Anne, the shop exudes an air of congeniality where patrons may purchase fine gifts at their leisure. There also is a goldsmith on premises. Call 757-422-5522 or go to www.Bakersjewelry.com.

Heritage Natural Market  The well-known Heritage Store was established in 1969. Its successor, Heritage Natural Market, opened at Linkhorn Shoppes in December 2010. The mission remains the same. Manager Michael Fitzgibbon says, “We promote a holistic approach to health by offering quality organic produce, supplements, and body care without harsh chemicals.” The shop contains a Holistic Center that provides customers with massages and psychic readings and a Chiropractic Nutrition Center. Call 757-438-0500 or go to www.heritagenaturalmarket.com.

Metropolitan Oyster Exchange  In January, Jerry Bryan, owner of the award-winning Coastal Grill, opened Metropolitan Oyster Exchange hoping to satisfy a customer base with high expectations. Those expectations have been rewarded and then some. The nautical decor sets the stage for a seafood cuisine that “rocks.” Jerry also features a first rate oyster bar. Call 757-222-2202 or go to www.metropolitanoysterexchange.com.

Exotic Home Interiors  Exotic Home carries fine solid wood furniture and exceptional home accessories. Professional designers can help clients develop furniture packages that fit their style. It is a direct manufacturer and importer that passes its savings directly to its clients. Design services and delivery are always free. Exotic Homes also imports select items from India and China and carries furniture lines such as Vanguard Furniture, American Drew, and Braxton Culler. Call 757-333-4666 or go to www.exotichomeinteriors.com.
